About

Singer and songwriter Ohara, has carved out his own lane in Toronto’s music scene, much owed to his soulful, warm sound that blends R&B, jazz, reggae and soul. It’s a rarity that a new singer is able to assimilate multiple musical influences while still maintaining a sound that is remarkably fresh. Ohara is undeniably one of those artists. His art is inherently biographical, as he sings about his personal lived experiences.

His early inspirations transcended time, from the rhythm and blues of Motown, to the poetic and aggressive aspects of rap music. Growing up in the heart of Toronto, Ohara draws creativity from the people, culture, but most of all an essence of emotion which is translated into his music.
